Karlie Suzonne Sanders

Karlie is a native of central Louisiana who received her bachelor’s degree in marketing, with a minor in political science from Louisiana State University in December 2018. Karlie received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Southern University Law Center, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2022. Throughout law school, she held multiple different internships that allowed her to gain valuable knowledge and experience in multiple areas of law.

At Hymel Davis & Petersen, Karlie focuses on litigation in the areas of insurance disputes, premises liability, and business litigation. Karlie is an eager associate with areas of practice including Personal Injury, Bad Faith Claims, White Collar Criminal Defense, and Business Litigation. Karlie is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and the Middle District of Louisiana. Additionally, she is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division, and Federal Bar Association. Karlie has also received her certification in Mediation.
