We secured the acquittal of a client who was indicted by a federal grand jury for mail fraud and conspiracy to commit mail fraud.
After Hurricane Laura, our attorneys secured a nearly $10 million verdict in favor of a client in Louisiana and against an insurance company that acted in bad faith in handling our client’s claim.

We secured the award of over $8 million in damages, attorneys’ fees, and costs for a client in a breach of contract case involving excavation of dirt and the improper burying of highway construction debris and rubble on our client’s farmland. On appeal before the appellate court and Louisiana Supreme Court, we defended the award of damages against the defendant’s effort to limit damages to the value of the property.
We obtained a settlement of over $11 million on behalf of our client, an engineering firm, arising out of the defendant’s breach of contracts in connection with a joint venture to develop a power plant.
After filing suit in federal court on behalf of our client—a manufacturer of tools and downhole flow control systems for the oil and gas industry—against former corporate officers and employees for violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the Lanham Act, the Louisiana Unfair Trade Practices Act, for breaches of fiduciary duties, and for tortious interference with business relations, we were able to creatively craft a unique and favorable settlement agreement valued at over $1 million in favor of our client.
After filing suit on behalf of our client—a marketer and distributor of lighting products and portable light towers—in state and federal court against a joint venturer for violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the Lanham Act, the Louisiana Unfair Trade Practices Act, for breaches of fiduciary duties, and for breach of contract, we secured a settlement valued at over $1.5 million on behalf of our client.
We successfully defended the owner of a company against a former corporate officer’s challenge to the client’s ownership of the company, and on behalf of the company we successfully prosecuted claims for conversion, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and unfair trade practices against the former officer, resulting in an award of almost $700,000 in damages, attorneys’ fees, and costs.
